Sarmad began his career in the building construction industry in 2009 as a civil engineer, specializing in structural design for concrete, steel, and industrial projects. After gaining several years of professional experience, he pursued a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering, where his research focused on soil liquefaction.
In recent years, Sarmad has developed a strong interest in building envelope systems and their role in energy efficiency and environmental performance. To further expand his expertise, he pursued a Master of Engineering in Building Science at BCIT, continuing his professional growth in the field of building science.
As a member of BMAC, Sarmad is committed to contributing his technical knowledge and multidisciplinary background to support innovative, sustainable, and high-performing building solutions. He aims to continue developing his expertise through collaboration, hands-on project experience, and ongoing learning while helping deliver excellence in building science and construction consulting.
