Renée is a Building Science Consultant at BMACTC. She graduated from Carleton University with an undergraduate degree in Architectural Conservation & Sustainability Engineering followed by a Master’s of Applied Science in Civil Engineering. Her thesis work focused on analyzing the effects of moisture on exterior painted wood siding in existing old buildings, using WUFI Pro to model varying paint permeabilities and moisture conditions. She is interested in building materials and understanding how their details impact the overall envelope durability.
She looks forward to applying her knowledge in the field, working towards creating a more energy efficient and durable built environment.
